HARTFORD CITY, Ind. – The Crossroads League announced its 2015 Men's Basketball All-Crossroads League Team on Monday, with Taylor's Kyle Stidom earning Honorable Mention All-League recognition.
Stidom led Taylor in scoring, rebounding and steals for the second time in his two years with the Trojans, netting 14.8 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.9 thefts per outing. The Indianapolis, Indiana native saw action in all 30 games for TU, starting 24 of those contests and shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from beyond the arc.
Stidom paced Taylor in scoring 15 times and was TU's top single-game rebounder 15 times. Stidom also scored in double figures 24 times during the 2014-2015 campaign, netting 20-or-more points seven times and posting a pair of double-double performances.
While stuffing the stat sheet on a nightly basis, Stidom ended the regular season as the fourth-most accurate free throw shooter in the NAIA Division II ranks, hitting 141-of-160 attempts for an 88.1-percent clip from the charity stripe.
In 18 Crossroads League games, Stidom nearly duplicated his season averages with 14.6 points and 5.5 boards per outing to go with an 86.2-percent rate from the free throw line.
The award is the second in as many years for Stidom, who claimed Third-Team All-Crossroads League honors following the 2013-2014 season.
