Five Trojans Earn All-Crossroads League Honors

AVON, Ohio – After cruising to a 30-shot victory in the Crossroads League Championship the Taylor men's golf team received several All-Crossroads League honors this week.
Junior All-American Alec Dutkowski was named the Crossroads League Player of the Year for the second straight season and earned All-Crossroads League honors for a third time following his stellar junior campaign. Dutkowski collected five tournament victories, including a one-shot victory at the Crossroads League Championship, and finished outside of the top ten only once in 12 tournaments. Through 26 competitive rounds this season Dutkowski boasts a league-best 71.38 scoring average.
Joining Dutkowski on the All-Crossroads League team were four other Trojans. Senior Trey Turner was named to the All-Crossroads League team for the third time in his career while fellow seniors Mitch Lamping and Nick Waskom earned All-League honors for the second time in their careers. Junior Jeremy Ray also earned a spot on the All-Crossroads League team as all five Trojans who competed in the Crossroads League Championship were voted to the All-League team.
Taylor coach Cameron Andry was honored as the Crossroads League Coach of the Year for the third straight season and for the fourth time in his career.
The 12th-ranked Trojans earned the Crossroads League's automatic bid into the NAIA National Championship with their victory in the Crossroads League Championship. Taylor will head to TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois for the NAIA National Championship held May 15-18, 2018.
