AVON, Ohio – Taylor senior Alec Dutkowski has been named the Crossroads League Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.

Dutkowski carded a 3-under par 69 in round one of the weather-shortened Purgatory Intercollegiate to lead the 18th-ranked Trojans to a victory in the 16-team field that included No. 3 Dalton State and No. 16 Missouri Valley.

The two-time Crossroads League Player of the Year has been named the Crossroads League Golfer of the Week nine times in his career.

Dutkowski and the Trojans return to action next week when TU travels to compete in the best NAIA tournament field of the season at The Roadrunner Classic hosted by Dalton State.
