2014 – 2015 at Taylor: For the second straight season Guarin played at the top singles spot for the Trojans, going 3-12 overall with two wins coming in Crossroads League play…Seeded No. 14 for the ITA Tournament, where he advanced past his opening round match before falling to Andy Struble of Aquinas 6-1, 6-1 in the second round…Competed in doubles at the top flight with Juan Ramirez, as the duo earned a 7-11 overall record, 4-4 in Crossroads League dual matches…The two made it all the way to the quarterfinals of the ITA before being defeated 8-4 by the top-seeded pair of Daniel Rueda and Thommy Johanssen from Northwestern Ohio, who went on to win the tournament…The ITA run was highlighted by two wins, one of which came against Crossroads opponents Jose Marval and Daniel Sanchez of Grace in a tiebreaker 9-8 (7-5)…An All-Crossroads League performer in his senior season.

2013 – 2014 at Taylor: Played No. 1 singles for the Trojans in the fall, going 2-10 overall…Went 1-1 at the ITA Tournament, winning his opening round match 6-2, 6-2 over Cornerstone’s Austin Hunt before bowing out to Daniel Sanchez of Grace 6-4, 6-1…Competed in doubles throughout the fall primarily with Collin Williams…The two went 1-4 overall at No. 2 doubles before moving to the top spot where they went 1-5…In the spring, Guarin was 0-3 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 2…Paired up with Juan Ramirez to record a 1-4 record at the top doubles flight…Named Academic All-Crossroads League and an ITA Scholar-Athlete.

2012 – 2013 at Taylor: Finished with an unofficial record of 2-7 in the fall at No. 3 singles in his first year with the Trojans, missing some time due to injury…Went 1-2 in the ITA Tournament…Posted a record of 1-2 at the No. 1 singles spot for Taylor in the spring… Played doubles with Collin Williams in the spring, as the duo went 0-1 at No. 1 doubles and 1-1 at No. 2 doubles.

2011 at Shaw University: Guarin played No. 1 singles for the Bears during his freshman season and earned player of the year honors in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association with a 13-10 record at his No. 1 singles position…Made an appearance in the NCAA D-II Championship Tournament in Altamonte Springs, Fla….Earned a No. 8 ranking in the NCAA Division II Atlantic Region and helped Shaw to a 24-1 regular season record, its fifth straight CIAA championship, and a No. 1 ranking in the Atlantic region…Began classes at Taylor for the start of J-Term 2012.
