TU's Hall Claims Weekly Recognition from Crossroads League

INDIANAPOLIS – Matt Hall posted his first collegiate victory at the 14-team Bethel Invite and has been selected as the Crossroads League Male Runner of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.

Hall topped the 167-runner field with a time of 25:19.5, leading the Trojans to a first-place finish and their fastest team time under third-year head coach Lance Vanderberg. The team win was the program's first since also claiming victory at the Bethel Invite during the 2013 season.

The Crete, Illinois native now boasts three Crossroads League Runner-of-the-Week honors in his three-year career with Taylor, after receiving the award twice during the 2013 campaign.

Hall and the No. 10 Trojans (50-11) will return to action at the Great Lakes Invite on October 24 at 11:00 am.
