Taylor Men Slotted Fifth in NAIA Poll
NAIA Top-25 Poll
UPLAND, Ind. – The Trojan men came in at No. 5 in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll released on Thursday, having competed once during the young season.
The Trojans began the year at the IWU Twilight Invite, finishing in second, led by a trio of runners placing in the top 11. Ryan Hanak, Luke Harber, and Joel Mumaw paced the veteran squad in the season debut.
The team time of 2:05.41 was the eighth fastest in program history and was faster than all but two team times from a season ago.
The second-place finish was impressive with the competition including seven schools currently ranked plus an additional two who are receiving votes.
Taylor continues its season on Friday, September 26, at the Florida State Cross Country Open, beginning at 8:40 am.
