AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League released its weekly player-of-the-week awards on Monday, and Taylor's Kendall Bradbury was named the league's women's basketball player-of-the-week.
Bradbury poured in 30 points and grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds to lead TU to a 79-71 road win in the season-opener at UNOH on Saturday. The junior forward knocked down 11-of-26 (42 percent) from the field, including three triples, while also dishing out four assists and notching two steals for the Trojans.
The player-of-the-week honor is the sixth of Bradbury's career, and the NAIA All-American's performance puts Bradbury first in the NAIA in rebounds per game (18.0) and second in points per game (30.0).
Bradbury and the RV Trojans (1-0) will be back in action on Wednesday night, when the team hosts No. 14 Indiana Tech (0-0) at 7:00 pm inside Odle Arena.
