AVON, Ohio – Kendall Bradbury was selected as the Crossroads League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the fourth time this season on Monday. The senior earned the recognition after a 20 point and 10 rebound day on Saturday.
Taylor only had one game last week, facing the 25th-ranked Saint Francis Cougars. Bradbury played a significant role in the victory, logging her eighth double-double on the year. 25 points and 10 rebounds highlighted the forward's game, while shooting 60.0 percent from the field.
TU's scoring record holder also climbed to a couple of career milestones on Saturday. Posting 16 points in the first half, Bradbury notched her 2,400th career point by halftime. Bradbury also added six free throws in nearly 39 minutes of action, picking up her 500th free throw.
Bradbury's scoring in 2018 has reflected favorably when compared to Crossroads League and NAIA opposition. Entering Monday, the senior forward ranked third in the NAIA and first in the Crossroads League for total scoring and points per game. Bradbury also rated highly in rebounds per game, free throw percentage and double-doubles, ranking among the top three for all three categories within the Crossroads League.
Bradbury and Mason Degenkolb (men's basketball) swept the Crossroads League awards for the Trojans this week.
No. 10 Taylor (13-4, 4-2) will return to action against No. 16 Indiana Wesleyan (13-5, 6-0) on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
