2016 at Taylor: Played and started in 16-of-17 games in the net for the Trojans as a sophomore…Allowed just nine goals on the year for a 0.65 goals-against average, which ranked 14th-best in the NAIA…Posted a 12-1-1 record on the season, while tallying 56 saves and recording seven shutouts…Was named Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week three times (August 22-28, September 19-25 and October 17-23)…Tallied five saves or more in six contests…Earned All-Crossroads League Honorable Mention, CoSIDA Second-Team Academic All-America and CoSIDA Academic All-District II honors.

2015 at Taylor: After battling injury early in the season, Engelkes appeared in 14 of TU’s 19 games, earning the start in 12 of them…Finished with a 5-5-2 record while in net and racked up 62 saves on the season…Became the first player under head coach Scott Stan to earn National Player of the Week honors after being named the NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 19-25)…Was also named the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week (Oct. 19-25)…Posted four shutouts on the season, including one in the 1-0 win against No. 18 Mt. Vernon Nazarene, ending with seven saves…Allowed just one goal and had six saves in the 1-1 draw with No. 10 Grace.
