Women's Soccer Places Three on All-Crossroads League Teams

AVON, Ohio – The TU women's soccer squad boasted three All-Crossroads League selections, as announced by the league office on Monday.
Linli Tu and Riley Massey earned First-Team All-Crossroads League nods and Erin Teevans grabbed an Honorable Mention All-Crossroads League honor.
The trio helped the Trojans to a 12-4-2 overall record, while securing the program's first trip to the NAIA National Tournament. The TU team posted a great 7-0-1 stretch amidst the season, as the group of All-CL standouts produced 10 goals within the eight-game span.
Tu received her first All-Crossroads League selection, after posting six goals, two assists, 14 points, 47 shots, 22 shots on goal and two game-winning goals in her first season on the pitch for Taylor. The midfielder ended the regular season with a goal in each of the final two matches.
Massey was tabbed as an All-Crossroads League standout for the first time in her career. The sophomore defender solidified the back line, assisting in seven shutouts for the Trojans in 2019. Offensively, Massey delivered five goals and two assists with many coming from set pieces.
Teevans picked up her second All-Crossroads League distinction from her forward position. The sophomore tied Tu for a team-high of six goals and held the outright lead for the Trojans with seven assists. Teevans ranked amongst the top-five in the Crossroads League with 0.41 assists per game, seven total assists and three game-winning goals.
The Trojans will open the NAIA Tournament on Friday at 2:00 pm (EST) against RV Columbia (Mo.) (18-3) in Pulaski, Tennessee.
