Sena Named Offensive Player of the Week
Crossroads League Release | TU Honors Page
JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its most recent installment of weekly honors, in which Taylor women's soccer player Chloe Sena was recognized as the CL Offensive Player of the Week.
The TU sophomore scored two goals throughout the week, one in each of Taylor's two shutout victories. While only playing 37 total minutes in Taylor's two matches, Sena made the most of her time on the field by striking two of her three shots to the back of the net. Both of Sena's goals were unassisted, as the Illinois native navigated the defense with craft all on her own.
With her first two goals of the 2021 season, the Trojan forward now has four career goals.
This week's honor marks the first time in Sena's career that she has been recognized with a CL Player-of-the-Week award.
TU athletics now boasts a total of nine CL weekly awards, two of which belong to Taylor's women's soccer team.
Sena and the Trojans (4-0-0) return to action on Monday, September 13, at 7:00 pm, when they take on the IU-Kokomo Cougars (0-3-1) inside Turner Stadium.
