JACKSON, Mich. – Taylor University's Eliza Luttrell has been named the Crossroads League Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, announced Monday by conference headquarters.
Luttrell, a junior forward from Naperville, Ill., scored 12 points for RV Taylor in lopsided wins over St. Mary of the Woods and Cornerstone. She had two goals and two helpers in an 8-0 win at SMW, before logging a hat trick on just three shots in a 9-1 win over Cornerstone.
Luttrell becomes the third Trojan to receive conference weekly honors this season in women's soccer, and the first to be named CL Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
TU closes out non-conference action on Wednesday at No. 7 Aquinas, before conference play begins next week.
