National Champion TU Women Collect Nine Scholar-Athlete Awards

KANSAS CITY – The National Champion Taylor women's cross country team not only excelled on the course in 2022, but also achieved highly in the classroom as evidenced by nine NAIA Women's Cross Country Scholar-Athlete awards.
Only five schools received more awards than the Trojans, among whom Dordt collected the most with a total of 17.
Lynae Ackley, Abbey Brennan, Audrey Brinkruff, Giovanna Domene, Elayna Kitt, Hannah Loeffler, Emma Muterspaw, Madeline Purdom, and Brooke Studnicki were among 609 women's cross country student-athletes from around the country honored for their achievements in the classroom.
To be eligible for an NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while having attended one full year at their current institution.
