Halterman Named Crossroads League Women’s Runner-of-the-Week

JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its Athletes of the week on Monday, with Jaynie Halterman taking home the honors as the CL women's runner of the week.
Halterman picked up where she left off a season ago, taking home the individual title at the IWU Twilight Invite for a second consecutive season. The sensational sophomore blitzed past the field with a time of 20:41.2, over a minute faster than second place.
The Thompson's Station, Tennessee native led Taylor to its sixth-consecutive victory at the IWU Twilight Invite as the team won by over 40 points amongst a field including four teams inside the top 11, and 12 teams ranked or receiving votes.
Taylor has picked up eight athlete of the week honors this season.
Halterman and the Trojans continue competition at the Florida State Cross Country Open on Saturday, September 27, with a start time yet to be announced.
