Taylor Stays No. 1 Ahead of Postseason Competition
NAIA Women's Cross Country Top 25
UPLAND, Ind. – Taylor tightened its grip on its No. 1 ranking in the NAIA Top-25, receiving 18 of 19 first-place votes ahead of the Crossroads League Championships.
The top-25 rating marks the program's 93rd consecutive appearance in the poll, with Taylor being ranked in the top-2 in the past nine polls.
The Trojans competed in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge and took home first led by Sam Patterson and Noel Bass, placing fifth and sixth in the 5k race. The loaded field included 16 teams ranked or receiving votes and Head coach Quinn White surpassed 1,600 wins in the event.
No. 1 Taylor (75-6) begins postseason competition at the Crossroads League on Friday, November 7, hosted by Indiana Wesleyan, with the women running at 10:00 am.
