Stout Continues Standout Sophomore Season at Fighting Chance Invite

JOLIET, Ill. – Spencer Stout highlighted the final day at the Fighting Chance Invite for Taylor in its final preparation for the NAIA Nationals later in May.

The sophomore carded a 14.97 in the 110-meter finals to finish fifth, before racing to a time of 57.99 in the 400-meter hurdles to finish sixth. Both times are season bests for the Wabash, Indiana native.

Wade Jones also competed in the 200-meters, clocking a time of 22.06 to place seventh.

The Taylor men will begin competition at the NAIA National Championships on Wednesday, May 20th in Asheville, North Carolina at the Karl Straus Track.
