TU Football Receives Votes in Postseason Poll
UPLAND, Ind. – The NAIA released its Top-25 Postseason Poll for the sport of football on Monday, with Taylor remaining in the receiving votes portion of the rankings.
The Trojans were one-of-33 teams to be listed in the poll, receiving 31 points for the 30th-highest total in the NAIA.
Taylor closed the season at 7-4 overall and in second place in the MSFA Mideast League with a 4-1 clip. The 7-4 mark gave the Trojans back-to-back winning seasons, combining with a 9-2 record in 2024 to give TU its second-best two-year win total in program history.
The Purple and Gray set single-season records with 48.5 points and 503.9 total yards of offense per game during the 2025 season, ranking No.4 in the NAIA in scoring average, No. 5 in total yards per game and No. 2 with 304.9 rushing yards per outing.
Taylor is poised for another strong showing in 2026 as it eyes a third-straight winning season for the first time since doing so from 1997 through 1999. The Trojans are set to return 15 starters, including 11 All-MSFA performers and will open their 2026 slate on August 29 at Olivet Nazarene, with the home opener set for September 5 against Saint Xavier.
