NEW ORLEANS – Luke Harber was named the USTFCCCA's Men's NAIA National Athlete-of-the-Week after winning the Ray Bullock Invite over the weekend.
The sensational senior took first place with a time of 25:01.4, the second-fastest 8k time in the history of the TUXC Farm. Harber is the first Trojan male to earn the award for the Trojans during the cross-country season.
Harber's individual victory powered Taylor to a second-place team finish with 39 points, just seven behind the first-place squad as teammate Ryan Hanak carded a second-place finish.
Harber and the Trojans complete the regular season at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday, October 25, with the men running at 10:00 am.
