Taylor Earns At-Large Bid to NAIA Women's Soccer National Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The 17th-ranked Taylor University women's soccer team received an at-large bid to the 2025 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship, as the national selection committee announced the teams and pairings Friday night. The 40-team field will kick things off in the First & Second Rounds at 16 campus locations on Nov. 20-22.
The Trojans (13-2-3) were awarded one of the top 16 seeds and will host Central Methodist (16-2-2) in the Second Round on Saturday, Nov. 22. The official match start time is yet to be announced.
Under head coach Scott Stan, the TU women's soccer program secured its third appearance at the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship (2019, 2022). It's the second time the Trojans have qualified for the championship event in four seasons.
TU received one of 14 at-large selections into the championship field, which also includes 27 automatic qualifiers. The at-large bids were determined by the NAIA Women's Soccer National Selection Committee. Additionally, the Trojans are one of five Crossroads League teams to qualify for the national tournament, with Marian, Grace, Indiana Wesleyan and Spring Arbor earning bids.
The winners from Second Round matchups will advance to the NAIA National Championship final site event, hosted in Pensacola, Florida at the Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex on Dec. 1-8.
