Volleyball Continues to Receive Votes in NAIA Top-25 Poll

UPLAND, Ind. – The TU Volleyball program continued to receive votes in the latest NAIA Top-25 Poll. The Trojans put up a 3-2 record since the last poll and began Crossroads League.
Taylor (9-4, 0-1 CL) fell in its CL opener in five sets against No. 15 Bethel (12-0, 1-0 CL). After dropping the first two sets, TU took the next two before battling to a 17-15 loss in the decisive fifth set.
The Trojans rebounded to take three of four while they hosted the Amber McClure Fayerweather Memorial Tournament over the weekend, with its only loss another five-set thriller.
Lindsay Springer was great at distributing the ball throughout the week, tallying 210 assists in five matches and 21 kills. Gracie Conway continued to shine on the outside with 77 kills and eight blocks during the week. Both Springer and Conway were named to the All-AMF Tournament Team.
Taylor continues Crossroads League play on Wednesday, September 13, with its first home match of CL play against Spring Arbor (6-6, 0-1 CL) set to start at 7:00 pm.
