NAIA Women's Cross Country Top-25 | NAIA NAtional Championships Qualifiers Announcement
UPLAND, Ind. – The Trojans continued to be ranked No. 1 in the NAIA in the final Top-25 Poll of the season released Tuesday afternoon. The ranking marks 94-straight weeks in the NAIA Poll for the Trojans, the second-longest streak in the NAIA currently.
The rankings coincide with the NAIA's announcement of the 36 teams set to compete for the NAIA National Championship on Friday, November 21st in Tallahassee, Florida.
The Trojans have defeated every NAIA team they've faced this season, but will match up against fellow title contenders No. 2 Milligan, No. 3 College of Idaho, No. 5 The Master's, and No. 5 Cumberlands for the first time this season.
Jaynie Halterman will look to defender her NAIA Individual Championships and the team will try to avenge a one-point second place finish a year ago. Joining Halterman in the top seven for the Trojans will be Noel Bass, Catey Campbell, Sam Patterson, Rebekah Firestone, Malarie Pinwar, and Emersyn Funk, all of whom were named All-Crossroads League with top-13 finishes at the CL Championships.
No. 1 Taylor (84-6) will run at 8:30 am on Friday, November 21st before the men's race, hoping to bring home the red banner for the second time in a four-year span.
