TU Cheer Takes Second at Taylor Invitational
UPLAND, Ind. – The Taylor competitive cheer program hosted its fifth-annual Taylor Invitational on Saturday, welcoming 10 teams to Odle Arena and turning in a second-place performance in front of its home crowd.
Taylor produced a score of 90.23 at the event, trailing Indiana Wesleyan's first-place score of 90.70 by less than half a point.
The score was Taylor's third-best in program history and its second-straight performance resulting in a score above the 90.0-point plateau, a feat that the Trojans have done just three times in program history.
No. 8 Taylor will return to action on March 6 and 7 on the campus of Saint Francis when it competes for the 2026 Crossroads League Championships.
