TU Garners Votes in Men’s Golf Top-25 Poll
UPLAND, Ind. – In the midst of an undefeated fall campaign, the Taylor men's golf team collected votes in the first NAIA Men's Top-25 Poll of the regular season, as announced by the NAIA on Friday afternoon.
The Trojans earned 14 points in the new ratings, good for the 34th-highest total in the nation after being left out of the preseason rankings.
Taylor has posted a head-to-head record this fall of 30-0 through its first four tournaments, posting four-straight team titles to begin the season. The Trojans have posted team scores of 300 and below in all nine of their rounds this fall, posting sub-300 scores in seven of those outings.
Through its first four events, TU has posted a team scoring average of 293.8 while showcasing its depth with Kyle Kasitz, Will Schuitema and Aaron Fulda all having finished atop the individual leaderboard in at least one event this fall.
RV Taylor (30-0) will close its fall season on October 20 and 21 at the Whistling Straits Classic in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
