Bio
Bryce Lawrence was hired as an assistant coach on the Taylor University men’s soccer staff prior to the 2025 season. Lawrence, a TU alum and former men's soccer student-athlete, appeared in 51 total matches and made 16 starts over the course of his four-year playing career as a Trojan.
Prior to joining the TU staff, Lawrence worked as a coach and operations assistant at Locker Soccer Academy, which is owned by former Harvard University head men’s soccer coach Steve Locker in Columbus, Ohio. In his role, Lawrence led small-group training sessions for youth soccer athletes while providing administrative support in several key business units including marketing and sales. He also served as head coach during the academy’s summer camps.
Lawrence spent previous summers coaching with Galacticos FC and interning with Final Third Foundation, both based out of Columbus, Ohio, where he accrued valuable coaching leadership and operations management experience. With the Final Third Foundation, Lawrence helped organize the annual Columbus Nation’s Cup, the only soccer festival of its kind celebrating diversity in Columbus and benefiting the Community Refugee & Immigration Services (CRIS) mentorship program.
Lawrence graduated from TU with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and he is a licensed U.S. soccer referee.
