Taylor Cheer Ranks 16th Among NAIA Squads

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Taylor competitive cheer team ranks 16th in the NAIA in average scoring through its three events in 2024. Among all programs that have competed in multiple competitions, TU boasts the 12th best average mark in the nation.
The Trojans' average score stands at 79.85, and the team has posted back-to-back marks above 80. Furthermore, Taylor has improved upon its team score in each meet during the 2024 season.
TU has completed all three of its competitions with top-10 scores in program history, including recording its fourth-highest team score with an 83.45 its last time out at the Missouri Baptist Showcase on January 27.
Taylor commences its fourth meet of the season at the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcat Invitational with round one slated for Friday, February 9, at 6:30 p.m., and rounds two and three on Saturday, February 10.
