Dutkowski Named NAIA Golfer of the Week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On the heels of his sixth career collegiate victory Taylor junior Alec Dutkowski has been named the NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week.
Dutkowski, who was honored as the Crossroads League Men's Golfer of the Week for the second straight week on Monday, earned the national honor after posting a two-round total of 3-under par 139 to claim medalist honors and lead the 13th-ranked Trojans to a dominant victory at the TPC Deere Run Invitational last weekend.
The junior from Wakarusa, Indiana posted an opening round 68 and added a final round 71 in cold and extremely windy conditions at the 6,605-yard, par-71 layout of TPC Deere Run, the site of the 2018 NAIA National Championship.
This is the second time Dutkowski has been named the NAIA Men's Golfer of the Week after also earning the distinction on April 20, 2017.
