Kasitz Named Crossroads League Golfer of the Week

UPLAND, Ind. – TU's Kyle Kasitz was recognized as the Crossroads League Men's Golfer of the Week on Monday, after tying for first on the individual leaderboard and helping Taylor claim the team title at the Lawrence Tech Collegiate Kickoff on September 1-3.

Kasitz was TU's top finisher at the rain-shortened 36-hole tournament, carding rounds of 73 and 74 to finish the second round in a tie for the lead at 147.

The award marks the second weekly league nod for Kasitz and moves Taylor Athletics to eight weekly league honors already in the 2025-2026 year.

Kasitz and the Trojans are set to return to action on September 22 and 23 at the Battle at Blackthorn.
