Sakeuh Lands Weekly League Honor

AVON, Ohio – The Crossroads League announced its weekly awards on Monday, naming Plenseh-Tay Sakeuh as the Women's Track Athlete of the Week. This is the fourth consecutive week a member of the Taylor women's track and field team has landed a weekly nod from the League.
This weekend at the Gina Relays in Hillsdale, Michigan, Sakeuh landed a top-10 performance in the women's championship division of the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.53 seconds, which is her fastest run of the 2018 outdoor season. In addition, Sakeuh and the TU women's 4x100-meter relay team picked up a sixth-place finish with a time of 49.53 seconds. Off the track, Sakeuh also helped the Trojans by taking first in the open division of the long jump with a leap of 5.91 meters.
Sakeuh and the Trojans will now turn their attention to the 2018 Crossroads League Championships, which will be hosted by Marian University in Indianapolis on Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th.
