Trojans Continue Indoor Season at Indiana Tech
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – With a limited roster, the Taylor women's track and field team continued the indoor season as the Trojans competed at the Strive for Greatness Invitational hosted by Indiana Tech on Saturday.
The Purple and Gold was led by freshman Kenley Blake, taking second place in the high jump and qualifying for NAIA Indoor Nationals hitting B standard. The jumper recorded a height of 1.65-meters.
Jo'Deci Irby clocked a time of 1:00.36 in the 400-meters and placed fifth in the event.
Freshman Audrey Altum competed in the 60-meter hurdles. The Upland, Indiana native clocked a time of 9.46, placing 11th overall.
Stephanie Wadsworth had a toss of 8.56-meters in the shot put, allowing her to finish in 19th.
Hannah Tienvieri competed in the long jump. The sophomore jumped 4.74-meters, earning 19th-place overall.
The Trojans will return to action on January 18 at the Mastodon Invitational.
