Taylor entered the critical second round in 16th position but followed its opening round score of 320 with a 332 on Wednesday, slipping down four spots and narrowly missing a top-17 position to advance into the final two days.
Shayne Lim led play for TU during the second round, posting the lone sub-80 score of the afternoon for the Trojan lineup. Lim shaved 10 strokes off her opening round with a score of 75 on Wednesday, ending at 160 shots for the two days and in 63rd place on the individual leaderboard.
