Crossroads League Championships Central
COLUMBUS, Ind. – The first two rounds of the 2026 Crossroads League Women's Golf Championships did not treat the Taylor women's golf team kindly, as the Trojans slipped to sixth in the standings after 36 holes of competition.
No. 18 TU carded rounds of 333 and 322 on Monday, falling well off pace of No. 3 Marian (604) and No. 9 Indiana Wesleyan (622) in the team standings. Grace battled to third place at 636, with RV Bethel and Huntington tied for fifth at 654, one stroke in front of the Trojans.
Shayne Lim and Eleanor Schuitema paced the Purple and Gray on the individual leaderboard, finishing day-one in ninth and 12th. Lim posted identical rounds of 78 to end her day six shots off the leader's pace, while Schuitema recovered from an opening-round 84 to fire a 75 over her second 18 holes.
No. 18 Taylor will look to make a charge over Tuesday's final round when action resumes at 7:30 am at the Harrison Lake Country Club.
