Lim Secures NAIA All-American Honors
KANSAS CITY – Shayne Lim received recognition after an incredible freshman season when she was named an NAIA All-American recently.
Lim was named NAIA Third-Team All-American, making her the fourth Trojan to earn All-American Honors and the tenth total award for the Taylor program, all of which have come since 2018.
Lim is the second freshman to earn the distinction for TU after an outstanding season where her average round was 77, and she led the Trojans in six of 11 outings. The freshman carded a career-best low-round score of 69 in the final round of the Players Club Invitational, where she earned first place in the entire field.
Lim led the team in six-of-11 tournaments throughout the season and made the playoff for the Crossroads League Championship title before finishing third. The Singapore native was named the CL Player and Freshman of the Year after an incredible debut season at Taylor, which she will look to build off in the fall.
