UPLAND, Ind. – The Crossroads League named Eleanor Schuitema as its women's golfer of the week on Monday, following her dominant victory at the Battle at Stonehenge on September 29 and 30.
Schuitema posted scores of 74 and 68 at the two-day event, using the three-under par round on Tuesday to pull away from her teammates and win the individual title by nine strokes with an even-par score of 142.
Schuitema finished ahead of fellow Trojans Margarita Garrido and Shayne Lim atop the individual leaderboard, as No. 18 Taylor swept the top-three spots and blitzed the field for the team title by 26 shots.
The honor is the first of the year for Schuitema and the second of her young career with the Purple and Gray.
Schuitema's award is the first for women's golf this year and the 17th weekly honor for Taylor Athletics during the 2025-2026 year.
Schuitema and the No. 18 Trojans will close their fall campaign on October 13 and 14 at the Crossroads League Fall Preview in Columbus Indiana.
