Sakeuh Honored by Crossroads League

INDIANAPOLIS – Taylor's Plenseh-Tay Sakeuh has been named the Crossroads League Women's Track and Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Sakeuh finished second-of-33 in the long jump at the NCAA Division II Grand Valley State Open, hitting the NAIA B standard mark with a season-best leap of 5.46 meters.
The Lapel, Indiana native added an A standard performance in the 60-meter hurdles to take fourth place. The sophomore also competed in the 200-meter dash to wrap up a busy afternoon.
This is Sakeuh's first weekly honor of the 2016-17 season and the fourth weekly honor of her collegiate career.
The Trojans are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 4 when the Trojans compete in the Indiana Wesleyan Midwest Classic.
