Volleyball Notches Eight NAIA Scholar-Athlete Awards

KANSAS CITY – The Taylor volleyball team was excellent inside the classroom during the 2023 season, collecting eight NAIA Women's Volleyball Scholar-Athlete awards.
Graceland (Iowa) collected the most with a total of 20, as Taylor had the fourth-most in the Crossroads League.
Alli Pflugner, Chelsea Hurt, Chloe Holtz, Jen Springer, McKaylah Flagle, Reagan Salzbrenner, Sarah Scott, and Tori Kik were among 1,206 women's volleyball student-athletes from around the country honored for their achievements in the classroom.
To be eligible for an NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while having attended one full year at their current institution.
