Trojans Cruise Past Cougars
UPLAND, Ind. - The TU women's tennis team got back on track in a big way on Thursday by defeating Saint Francis in dominating fashion. Taylor (3-1, 2-1 CL) ousted the Cougars (0-4, 0-4 CL) by a final tally of 8-1.
The Trojans nabbed five of the six singles matches and swept all three doubles contests. In singles play, No. 1 singles standout Molly Fletchall shut out USF's top player, Hannah Haas, 6-0, 6-0 while Alexa Kling, Taelor Grose, Katelyn Gray and Molly Pile also won convincingly in two-set matches.
Taylor will be back in action on Saturday for the third time this week. The next battle for TU will be at Spring Arbor University (3-0, 3-0 CL) in Spring Arbor, Michigan.
